Hobby Farm Family Photos near London Ontario
As I arrived to their beautiful property, the kids appeared one by one and quickly asked if I wanted to see their favourite thing - their hobby farm. We all headed towards the pens, so each child could show me who they were caring for at the moment. Chickens that were not easy to catch, a bunny that loved being held, and a baby sheep that was uncertain about the whole thing - with both family dogs supervising, of course. I can’t think of a better way to spend your photo time than documenting everyday life - what makes your family unique!
We let the animals go back to their barn and asked the kids to decide where to go next. A few games of tag were played, trees were climbed and we couldn’t forget to include their beloved trampoline as well. With the sun setting, a race through a nearby field felt like a cinematic end to this laid-back evening session.
And in true family farm fashion, as I was taking some portraits of the dogs on my way out, they insisted I take a dozen fresh eggs home with me. The small town spirit was alive and well on this gorgeous night!
