Doing my best tourist impression, I wandered through Shakespearean Gardens as I waited for E & L to end their romantic walk at our chosen meeting spot, the famous white gazebo. The chilly weather worked out in our favour and they were the only people in the park for this special moment together (aside from me in my mittens)!

As the sun began to set behind Stratford’s famous Shakespearean Gardens, I wandered the trails doing my best to blend in with the crowd. C & M arrived and walked towards the gazebo, where I was so honoured to document their engagement on this beautiful summer night.

On a windy, cloudy day, the most beautiful surprise unfolded. With their handsome Bernese Mountain Dog as the excuse, I pulled A&S aside and asked if I could take a few photos of him. As we wandered to a quieter side of Tom Patterson Island, I asked if the two of them wanted to step in for some photos together - and the rest was history!

Between some intense weather and a long drive ahead of us all, this session almost didn’t happen. It poured rain my entire drive there and back, but the skies cleared up just long enough for an incredibly moody forest shoot at the Guelph Arboretum. The three of us showed up in different variations of the same outfit (Blundstones required) and the rest was history!
