Mill Race Park and EVO Kitchen | Cambridge Wedding
On a sunny October afternoon, I had the great pleasure of photographing my dear friends C and G on their wedding day. As we had celebrated their elopement a few months prior, there was an air of calmness and stress-free joy floating through the wedding party that day. One of my favourite parts of the day was the very first thing we did - a nod to that private elopement by recreating their portraits in the same corner of a park in Cambridge. Revisiting that same willow tree by the water with just the two of them felt like such a special, full-circle moment!
A Pride Month Wedding at Cranberry Creek: Ontario’s Most Charming Wedding Chapel
On the last day of Pride Month, friends and family gathered to witness the wedding of J & G at Cranberry Creek Gardens, one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Southern Ontario. The day began in a nearby Airbnb, where the brides got ready surrounded by their wedding party and closest family members. The front lawn served as a stunning and intimate space for an emotional first look - an unforgettable moment between the two brides.
Summer Micro-Wedding at Grayson Mills Stratford
On a warm and sunny August afternoon, A & G’s closest loved ones gathered on the balcony at Grayson Mills. While their guests settled in the ceremony space, the main floor served as the perfect spot for a private first look between the bride and groom. Originally built in the 1880s, Grayson Mills is Stratford’s newest wedding venue. Best known for its time as a bicycle and automotive dealership, the restored building now sports exposed beams, brick interiors and three large spaces for weddings of all sizes.
A Rainy Camp Kintail Wedding on Lake Huron
When I first got an email from B asking me to be their wedding photographer at Camp Kintail, I was so honoured. She had told me the story of how they met at camp as employees, and grew closer as M trained B on the high ropes course. In her own words, “knot tying was hard for me (and heights, at the time) and he was a very patient teacher”. And as the day was finally here, a questionable forecast could never stop these two from celebrating at their favourite place on earth.
Garden Party Wedding at the Stratford Country Club
This gorgeous summer day began with C and his groomsmen at an Airbnb in Stratford, a quiet loft downtown that was perfect for calming those morning-of nerves. While we worked through the traditional photos of ties being tied and jackets being buttoned, one of the groomsmen mentioned a unique decoration they had stumbled upon in the stairwell. If you know anything about Stratford, the abundance of rentals means you definitely run into some quirky decor - but a pink spray painted bicycle mid-hallway was…certainly a first for all of us!
Summer Wedding at Bellamere Winery, London Ontario
There was not a dry eye around as we saw J’s reaction to his beautiful fiancée, finally seeing her for the first time that day. Since K & J have settled in Alberta, witnessing their Ontario family be present for the sweetest vows was so heartwarming. I absolutely loved the final images of their first kiss, showing how many lovely family members and friends had come to support them and celebrate that day.
