I love a sunny session as much as the next photographer, but something about stormy weather just adds to a shoot! This may have set a new record for high speed photography as we wanted to beat the incoming thunderstorm - but the running around made it even more fun! That’s why we’re hesitant to reschedule for weather, this unpredictable day gave us the 20 minutes we needed complete with a moody sky. Never a dull moment at Shakespeare Pond!

Another year of shivering down, we managed to (mostly) avoid the rain and document some Christmas spirit! Our lovely hosts, the Kroes Family, provided the perfect backdrop complete with a bonfire. While these seem like a lifetime ago, I thought they deserved a permanent spot on the blog. Our first Christmas Mini day, and our first pandemic Christmas no less. This chilly day was filled with laughter, shivering and so much sanitizing but it turned out better than I ever could have imagined!
