You’ve worked on the Pinterest board for years and it’s finally time to put all the planning into action! As photographers, we are focused on documenting every last DIY detail for you, but those gorgeous flat lay photos don’t just appear out of thin air either. I bring my own kit with a few neutral items, but nothing beats pieces of your own decor to perfectly match your colour scheme. Creating a little container of materials for your photographer to work with allows us to create some magic while you enjoy getting ready for the ceremony!

There’s not much more exciting than being asked to photograph the wedding of high school friend! Having already done a few sessions with L & J previously, I was so honoured to receive that email asking me to be their wedding photographer. The Arlington Hotel is a quaint, quirky downtown location - perfect for unique getting ready photos! And conveniently located just across the street, the Telegraph Event Centre (River’s Edge Paris) has an unbeatable view of the Grand River and beautiful exposed brick as the backdrop for your ceremony and reception.

The most stunning mid-June day and the beautiful backdrop of River Valley, it doesn’t get much better than this! While I may be biased any time I document a friend’s wedding, M & J truly pulled of an incredibly fun day for everyone - and the valley provided a breathtaking portrait location on the golf course. The first wedding of the 2022 season was an absolute dream! When C & S reached out about their big day, I knew I had to be a part of it - who doesn’t love a camp wedding? Huron County is close to my heart and Camp Kintail provided the best the county has to offer, all in one location. The cabin stay experience, space for activities, community dinner and the most incredible Lake Huron sunset. This unique ceremony location provided such an intimate space - complete with a view of the lake as the backdrop and an exit that was made for a confetti toss! Safe to say this season started off on a beautiful high note!

Love knows no distance, and N & A are absolute proof of that! With both sides of the family flying in from the UK and USA, they hosted the most stunning private ceremony in downtown Mississauga. Located on the 12th floor of the Civic Centre, C Banquets provided a cityscape view lighting the ceremony with gorgeous floor to ceiling windows. The cherry on top was the white floral pieces designed by Little Poppy Florals, such an incredible addition to the decor!

Surrounded by close family and friends, this stunning wedding day was one to remember. As they got ready at home, J had a gift waiting for C - a wedding portrait with their adorable golden retriever pup, Luna (who also made an appearance for photos)! After a gorgeous ceremony at the Tavistock Mennonite Church, we headed to a friend’s backyard for more photos. And like any good Tavistock wedding, followed it up with dinner at Quehl’s Restaurant and Catering! After rescheduling due to gathering restrictions, this day turned out to be simply magical.
